I have a baby boy!


I, girly girl, of all girly girls.

The one who taught practically everyone I know how to use mascara.

The one who begged to wear pantyhose like all the grown up women did.

The one who still prefers to wear dresses over jeans.

The one who DROOLS over a pretty necklace or earrings.

The one who still has all the adorable frilly baby dresses that I wore when I was a baby.

And you know what?

I am so happy that he’s a boy!

Know what else?

There was a time when I thought my life would not be complete without a baby girl in it.

I was wrong.

This Little Man of mine has stolen my heart.

I love him more than I ever dreamed. EVER.

Sometime over the last 8 months I learned that I don’t miss the frills or the hair bows or the hair styling near as much as I once thought I would.

Sorry, Techy, but this Little Man is the LOVE of my life.
