(Pottery Barn - I think 2009)
Fall Fever hit with a bang.
By the last week of August, half of all the blogs in my reader were posting tutorials on how to make the cutest fall wreaths ever and how to make a pumpkin out of anything including but not limited to ribbons, corn husks, leaves, burlap, etc. etc. etc.
Although I am a self-proclaimed lover of all things fall, I was hanging on to the last bits of summer with every fiber of my being.
But last Friday - the 3rd of September - we left for Georgia.
And on Tuesday, the 7th of September we returned.
To this.
And this
And this
I am guessing that the trees in my back yard heard that September had hit....
So much for me trying to keep it a secret from them....
I have resigned myself to enjoy the magic that is fall. And I am excited about it.
But I plan to extend my summer as much as possible by appreciating the fact that my father-in-law opted for the HEATED pool.
