If you're singing the rest of the words to that song, you probably just transported yourself back in time 15 years. Back when JT had spaghetti tight curls and Beyonce was wearing a pink jumpsuit with Bootilicious on the back side.
And chances are, you're feeling 22 right now.
Until you remember that the writer of "22" was still in diapers when you were feeling 22.
And if all of that is the case, it's ok. I'm right there with you.
Feeling all sorts of 22 in a late-thirty-something body.
But it's not too late for us, y'all!
There's still a ton to love about this season of life.
And today, I just want to share a few of my favorite things from this season of my life.

If you follow me on ye olde Instagram, you know way too much about my life. Like my deep seated love for Venti Decaf Americano's with heavy cream and sugar free vanilla. But y'all. Can we just talk about the amazingness that is the Starbucks app???? I mean, I can totally hop in my car in the morning, submit my order and it's waiting for me before I even pull into the parking lot!

It's hard to believe that we've lived in Atlanta for 7 years now, and I would be lying if I didn't say that we have fallen in love with a good many Southern traditions. Not the least of which, is the wonderful world of Chic-fil-a. I know what you're thinking - fried chicken is so not heart healthy, but y'all, this concoction is the perfect blend of protein, carbs and fat. So much so that I'm pretty sure than when God dropped manna from heaven, Truett Cathy got a hold of the recipe and recreated to sell in perfect meal sized portions. Add in the fact that I can be in and out of the drive thru with a perfectly accurate order in less than 10 minutes, and you've got the fast food to end all fast food. But to take it one step further, their new app release, is almost as amazing as Starbucks, I can have my order already entered, and then just click a button to notify them that I've arrived in the drive-thru! It's my mid-life dream come true!!!!

I know, I know. It's cliche for a girl to pick a book solely about her namesake. But y'all. This one is GOLD. I don't know if you've realized it or not, but our world is laden with comparisons, and this book takes it to the source - all the way back to the Old Testament, even. To a story of two sisters who are married to the same man - no, it's not Game of Thrones - it's actual Bible. And it gets messy, but the author weaves a wonderful web of truths from this mess of history. And reminds us that God doesn't hide from our messes, but jumps in and walks by our side through them. Even turns the mess on it's head to reveal something truly amazing. Definitely a must read!
